An early-season apple with rich color and flavor
William’s Pride is a disease-resistant apple that ripens early in the season, offering deep red fruit with excellent flavor. Its medium to large apples have dark red to purplish skin with occasional striping, and juicy cream-colored flesh that is crisp when freshly picked. The flavor is sweet with mild spice notes, making it ideal for fresh eating, baking, and juice.
Harvest: Mid–late August
Storage: Keeps 4–6 weeks, best enjoyed fresh
Zones: Cold-hardy to Zone 4
Tree Habit: Vigorous, spreading, and naturally disease-resistant (especially against apple scab)
For homesteaders and home gardeners, William’s Pride brings reliability and flavor to the orchard. Its early ripening and strong disease resistance reduce the need for spraying, while its richly colored fruit offers a sweet, satisfying taste to kick off apple season.
