Warranty

Wild Valley Nursery Warranty Policy

1. Our Guarantee

At Wild Valley Nursery, we take pride in providing healthy, high-quality plants and trees grown for success in Canadian climates. Every bare-root tree we ship has been inspected for vigor, health, and correct labeling before leaving our nursery.
We guarantee that all trees and plants will arrive alive and true to variety.

2. Upon Arrival

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. Do not leave trees in shipping packaging any longer than necessary. Trees must be stored properly to insure roots do no dry out. If there are any concerns—such as damage in shipping, incorrect items, or unhealthy stock—notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order, including clear photos of the plants and packaging.
We will work quickly to resolve the issue.

3. Planting and Growing Conditions

Because tree survival depends on factors beyond our control (such as planting site, weather, watering, soil conditions, pests, and care after delivery), we cannot guarantee long-term survival once the trees are planted.

However, we stand behind our trees and will gladly offer advice on care, planting, and maintenance to help ensure success. We want you to have a thriving orchard.

4. Limited One-Time Replacement

If a bare-root tree fails to leaf out in its first growing season despite proper care, contact us before July 15 of the same year.
Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Photos showing the planting site, planting holes when planting, and tree condition before and after planting

  • A description of your planting and watering process

If approved, we will provide a one-time replacement or store credit (excluding shipping and handling). Replacement stock will be sent at the next available shipping season.

5. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Loss due to improper planting, neglect, over- or under-watering, or poor site conditions

  • Damage from wildlife, weather, insects, or frost

  • Trees planted in unsuitable hardiness zones

  • Trees purchased for resale or commercial use

6. Our Commitment

We’re growers ourselves and understand the challenges of starting an orchard. Our goal is to help you succeed.
If you have any issues, reach out to us—we’ll always do our best to make it right.
